In season 2025/2026 the CYAA held the first bone fide National Championships for Castle Yachts. To acknowledge the Castle 650 Performance Handicap Winnder, a trophy previously in the custodianship of the CYOAV was restored and repurposed as a perpetual trophy to recognise this achievement.
