Castle 650 "Australian Champion" Perpetual Trophy

As the former Castle Yacht Owners Association of Victoria was the only Castle Yacht association in Australia the Victorian Titles become the de-facto Australian Titles.

In the late 90's / early 2000's this trophy was awarded twice before the association became less active for several years. It is unknown if there were no titles between 2000 and 2011, or if the trophy was simply not awarded. 

Since 2011 the perpetual trophy has been awarded to the Castle 650 champion when there was 3 or more Castle 650's at a Victorian State Titles. It is hoped that in the future the now national association will award this trophy to a bona-fide national champion.
